The CIMAG M-2000 sorter is designed for the separation and cleaning of chopped carob or any other type of grain. It is fitted with two extractors for fine impurities and dust generated as the product falls onto the machine’s inlet tray. This tray serves to distribute the material across the entire surface of the sieve and maximise screening efficiency. The type of movement of the screen ensures that the product is in contact with 100% of the screen’s surface area, thereby maximising its effectiveness.
The machine incorporates a fan driven by a 4CV motor, which generates the necessary air flow; in the expansion chamber, with the aid of a screw conveyor, the intermediate product is separated from the husk (in the case of cereals, this would separate the final product from impurities).
It also features three vanes that are adjusted via a handwheel to set the required air pressure, thereby ensuring the final product is as clean as possible.
The angle of the outlet chute for the cleaned product is also adjustable to fine-tune the cleaning process.
The screen is made from high-strength carbon steel sheet and is driven by a 2CV motor; it features access hatches to the screens for easy cleaning and replacement, making maintenance of the machine more convenient.
All bearings are fitted with grease nipples for easy lubrication.
